ONWR Delegation Visits AMATA to Learn About Sustainable Water Management Practices
On June 5, 2026, the AMATA Group’s executive team, led by Dr. Vikrom Kromadit, Mr. Chuchart Saitin, Mr. Chawalit Tippawanich, and Ms. Potjanart Reejinda, together with Mr. Veerapong Duangphiboon, Director of the Amata City Chonburi Industrial Estate Office, welcomed Mr. Chayan Muangsong, Secretary-General of the Office of the National Water Resources (ONWR), and a delegation of executives from ONWR during their visit to AMATA City Chonburi Industrial Estate.
During the visit, the delegation received a briefing on AMATA’s integrated water management system and toured key water infrastructure facilities, including Wastewater Treatment Plant No. 1, Water Reclamation Plant No. 1, and the AMATA Raw Water Reservoir. The visit also provided an opportunity for both organizations to exchange knowledge, experiences, and best practices in water resource management, as well as discuss approaches to enhancing long-term water security and sustainability.
The visit reflects the strong collaboration between the public and private sectors in promoting efficient and sustainable water resource management. AMATA was honored to host the ONWR delegation and share its experience in supporting responsible industrial development through effective environmental and water stewardship.
